With In-Ground fencing, the pet can also be in the front yard. Dogs are nosey animals and hate being stuck in the back yard where they can't see what's going on. Allowing the dog to go to the front yard will satisfy his curiosity, thus making your dog more calm.
The front yard offers your dog entertainment. He gets to see the mail man, the FedEx truck, the UPS truck, the school bus, and other things of interest including you, when you arrive home. You can create off areas with electronic fencing, such as a pool, flower or garden area. You can have your front yard separate from your back yard. If your pet runs out the front door he will be contained.
Installation is easy. The buried wire boundary can be installed in virtually any configuration the owner chooses. Simply place the boundary wire in any configuration you choose.
When a dog approaches the boundary area, he receives a warning tone. After a three second delay, if the dog hasn't retreated, the tone is followed by a mild electrical stimulus, which is set to match his temperament. If the dog is standing at the boundary, and jumps at it, an immediate correction happens, called Runthrough Preventer. If the dog does not back up the correction will begin to rise with our exclusive, Rising Stimulus. If the dog does not know what to do and the correction continues for over 15 seconds the system will cut off for 10 seconds, Safety Shut Off. Most dogs learn to avoid the boundary area in a short time.
